Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has announced the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) round 2 seat allotment result 2026 today, July 25. Candidates who took part in the second round of counselling for Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Bachelor of Design (BDes) and Master of Technology (Integrated) [MTech (Integrated)] programmes can now check their allotment status on the official website, uptac.samarth.edu.in.Candidates who are satisfied with the seat allotted to them can choose the ‘Freeze’ option to confirm their admission. Those who want to be considered for a better seat in the upcoming counselling rounds can select the ‘Float’ option. Candidates who do not wish to continue in the counselling process can withdraw their allotted seat within the prescribed schedule.AKTU conducts the counselling process on behalf of the Uttar Pradesh Technical Education Department for admission to undergraduate and integrated programmes offered by AKTU-affiliated and other participating state universities. Admissions are based on national-level entrance examination scores, including the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG), Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET PG) and the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), depending on the course.
