UPSSSC Excise Constable Eligibility Result 2026 released; check cut-off marks, vacancies and next steps

UPSSSC Excise Constable Eligibility Result 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the Excise Constable Eligibility Result 2026 on July 28, 2026. A total of 32,891 candidates have been shortlisted for the next stage of the recruitment process and will be eligible to appear for the Mains Examination.Candidates who applied for the recruitment can check their eligibility status through the official UPSSSC portal. The shortlisted candidates have been selected based on their normalized scores in the UPSSSC PET 2025 examination.Category-wise cut-off marks announcedThe shortlisting cut-off marks have been released according to different categories. Candidates were shortlisted based on the minimum qualifying marks set for their respective categories.For General, Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), the cut-off score is 69.13 marks. The Scheduled Caste (SC) category cut-off is 66.80 marks, while candidates from the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category required 52.86 marks for shortlisting.

Steps to download UPSSSC Excise Constable Eligibility Result 2026

Candidates can follow these steps to download their eligibility result:Step 1: Visit the official UPSSSC website.Step 2: Open the link for Excise Constable Advertisement Number 08-Exam/2026 Eligibility Result.Step 3: Enter the PET 2025 registration number, date of birth, gender and verification code.Step 4: Submit the details to view the eligibility result.Step 5: Download and save the shortlisting status card for future reference.Recruitment details and vacancy updateThe UPSSSC Excise Constable recruitment drive is being conducted under Advertisement Number 08-Exam/2026. The total number of vacancies has been increased from 722 to 820 posts.Out of the total vacancies, 682 posts are under general selection and 138 posts are reserved under special selection. The application process for the recruitment was conducted from June 4, 2026, to June 24, 2026.Selection process after eligibility resultCandidates shortlisted through the eligibility result will have to qualify in the remaining stages of the recruitment process. The next stage will be the Mains Written Examination, which will consist of 100 objective-type questions carrying a total of 100 marks.Candidates clearing the written examination will proceed to the Physical Measurement Test (PMT), where height and chest standards will be verified. This will be followed by the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which will assess candidates through prescribed physical endurance activities.The final stage will involve document verification, where original certificates and eligibility documents will be checked before final selection.
