RRB Ministerial and Isolated Category exam city slip released for 311 posts ahead of written test

RRB CEN 08/2025 exam city slip: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the exam city intimation slip for the Ministerial and Isolated Category recruitment under Central Employment Notice (CEN) 08/2025. Candidates who have successfully registered for the recruitment can now check their allotted examination city through the official application portal. The intimation slip was issued on July 4, 2026.The recruitment drive is being conducted for 311 vacancies across multiple Ministerial and Isolated Category posts in Indian Railways. The written examination is scheduled to be held on July 14 and 15, 2026. Earlier, the application status was made available on May 11, 2026, allowing applicants to verify whether their applications had been accepted or rejected.Recruitment scheduleThe indicative notification for CEN 08/2025 was released on December 17, 2025. Online registrations began on December 30, 2025, and concluded on January 29, 2026. Following scrutiny of applications, the application status was published before the release of the exam city intimation slip.Candidates can download the city intimation slip from the official recruitment portal. The document provides details of the allotted examination city before the conduct of the computer-based examination.Vacancy details and eligibilityThe recruitment covers seven posts. These include 202 vacancies for Junior Translator (Hindi), 39 for Lab Assistant Grade III, 24 for Staff and Welfare Inspector, 22 for Chief Law Assistant, 15 for Senior Publicity Inspector, seven for Public Prosecutor and two for Scientific Assistant (Training).Educational qualifications differ according to the post. The prescribed qualifications include Class 12 with Physics and Chemistry, diploma, graduate, postgraduate and professional degrees such as LLB and MBA, along with relevant work experience wherever specified.The prescribed age limit is 18 to 33 years. The cut-off date for determining age is January 1, 2026. Age relaxation will be applicable according to the prescribed recruitment rules.Selection processThe selection process consists of CBT-I, followed by CBT-II. Depending on the post applied for, candidates may also have to appear for a skill test. Those qualifying the required stages will be called for document verification and a medical examination before the recruitment process is completed.Applicants scheduled to appear in the examination can access their allotted exam city using their login credentials on the official RRB application portal. They are advised to verify the details available on the intimation slip before the examination.
