ICAI reopens CA Final November 2026 application window till August 5; apply at eservices.icai.org
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has reopened the CA Final November 2026 examination application window as a one-time measure for candidates who could not register earlier.

ICAI CA final examinations 2026: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has reopened the online examination application window for the CA Final November 2026 examinations at eservices.icai.org. The special one-time application window opened on August 1 and will remain available until August 5, 2026, at 11:59 pm through the SSP portal.According to ICAI, the reopened application window is intended for candidates who could not complete their examination registration within the earlier schedule. The original application process was conducted from July 6 to July 19, while candidates were allowed to submit forms with a late fee until July 22. Nevertheless, the institute noted that most of these students were missing the deadline due to the confusion generated by the new examination timetable. To help solve this problem, the council has allowed a special one-off chance, whereby eligible candidates can apply for the examination using the SSP portal.

Why ICAI reopened the application window

The November 2026 examination is among the first CA Final sessions after ICAI restored the twice-a-year examination cycle, with examinations now being held in May and November.Earlier, the Institute had shifted to a three-cycle pattern before deciding to return to the traditional biannual schedule. ICAI said this transition led to confusion among candidates regarding examination form submission timelines, prompting the reopening of the application portal.

CA Final November 2026 examination: Steps to apply

Candidates can follow the steps elucidated here to apply for the CA Final November examination 2026:

  • Go to the ICAI SSP portal at eservices.icai.org.
  • Log in using the registered credentials.
  • Fill in the examination application form.
  • Upload the required documents.
  • Choose the preferred examination city.
  • Pay the prescribed examination fee.
  • Submit the form and download the confirmation page for future reference.

However, the Institute found that most students failed to meet this deadline due to the confusion caused by the changed exam timetable. The solution to the problem lies in the Council’s decision to allow applicants to fill in the application forms for the exams via the SSP portal.
