DU CSAS UG 2026 upgrade round seat allotment result out; admission fee payment by August 4

The University of Delhi (DU) has declared the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Undergraduate (UG) 2026 upgrade round seat allotment result. Candidates who have been allotted an upgraded seat can check their allotment status through the DU admission portal. Students who wish to accept their upgraded seat must complete the admission process, including payment of the admission fee, by August 4, 11:59 pm. According to the university, candidates who fail to pay the fee within the deadline will lose their allotted seat. As per the admission schedule, colleges will verify and approve online applications till August 3, 4:59 pm.

According to the university, the third round seat allotment will be prepared using candidate data available as of August 5.

Mid-entry and correction window

DU will open the mid-entry and correction window from August 3 to August 5 (11.59 pm). During this period:

  • Candidates who did not register in Phase I and Phase II of DU CSAS UG 2026 can apply by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 1,000.
  • Candidates who completed Phase I registration but did not fill their programme and college preferences can complete Phase II.
  • Applicants who have not received a seat in the earlier rounds can revise their programme and college preferences.

How to check the result

Candidates can follow these steps to download their allotment result:

  • Visit the official DU CSAS admission portal.
  • Click on the “CSAS (UG) Upgraded Round” link on the homepage.
  • Log in using your Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) application number or registered email ID and password.
  • The upgrade round seat allotment result will appear on the screen.
  • Check the allotted college, programme and admission status carefully.
  • Download and save the allotment letter for future reference.

Important: Candidates who have received an upgraded seat should complete all admission formalities within the prescribed deadline. The university has clearly stated that failure to pay the admission fee by August 4, 11:59 pm will result in cancellation of the allotted seat. Those who are still waiting for admission can use the mid-entry and correction window, if eligible, before the third round of seat allotment begins.
