The UPESSC conducted the UPTET 2026 examination on July 2, 3, and 4 in offline mode across 955 examination centres spread over 60 districts. While the examinations on July 2 and 3 were held in two shifts, the final day’s examination was conducted in a single shift.According to reports, around 1.7 million candidates appeared for the examination, making UPTET one of the largest teacher eligibility tests conducted in the country. The answer key was declared by the commission on July 8, 2026, enabling the candidates to compare their answers and make an estimate of their probable scores.
