UP Board Class 10, 12 Exam 2027: UPMSP announces application schedule for private candidates; forms due by August 5
The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has opened the registration process for private candidates appearing in the 2027 Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations. Candidates must submit their applications through authorised forwarding centres by August 5, 2026. The board has also notified the complete schedule for fee payment, document verification, corrections, and examination fee details.

The Uttar Pradesh Private Schools Examinations Board, UPMSP (Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh), has officially made available the comprehensive step-by-step guide for the registration of private candidates who hope to take the board’s exams for 2027. Apart from the deadline the board laid out, it gave the step-by-step process for applying to the board examination, paying the fee, submitting and verification of documents, and making amendments. Candidates were strongly recommended to be aware of the exact dates and not miss any of the stages to avoid being charged for the late application.Private candidates will be required to submit their examination forms through designated forwarding centres.

CJP Jantar Mantar Protest Updates

The board has fixed August 5, 2026, as the last date for submitting the application form along with the prescribed examination fee. Candidates who fail to complete the process within the stipulated timeline will be permitted to apply only after paying a late fee of Rs 100.

Complete timeline for UP Board 2027 private candidate applications

UPMSP has implemented a well-defined timetable to allow them to finish the examination registration process for each of the phases in a time-efficient manner. After the submission of the form, it is the forwarding centers that will be liable for the payment of the examination fee into the Treasury and for uploading the qualifications of the candidates as to educational level. With releasing the time frame, the board also opened the verification and correction phase, giving both educational institutions and candidates a chance to correct any errors or changes that may have been made during the process by the submitting parties before the final list of candidates is made. The key dates announced by the board are:

Event Date
Last date to submit application form and examination fee August 5, 2026
Deposit of examination fee in treasury August 10, 2026
Upload of treasury receipt and educational qualification details August 16, 2026
Last date to submit application with Rs 100 late fee August 16, 2026

Verification of candidate details August 21 to August 31, 2026
Correction and updation of candidate details September 1 to September 10, 2026
Submission of candidate photograph list and fund letter September 30, 2026

Examination fee structure announced

UPMSP has also notified the examination fee applicable to different categories of private candidates. For Class 10 individual candidates, the examination fee has been fixed at Rs 706.50. Candidates appearing under the credit system will be required to pay Rs 306.50, while those opting for additional subjects must pay Rs 206.50 per subject. For Class 12 individual candidates, including failed Agriculture and Vocational stream candidates, the examination fee has been set at Rs 806.50. Students choosing additional subjects in the Intermediate examination will also have to pay Rs 206.50 for each additional subject.

Verification and correction process

To minimise errors in examination records, UPMSP has allocated a dedicated verification period from August 21 to August 31, during which candidate details uploaded by forwarding centres will be scrutinised. There will be a period for modification, which extends a grace period for schools that might need changes to their submitted details. September 1 through September 10 is the window set to enable institutions to make changes to or rectify their wrong entries after having submitted all the requirements just before the finalisation of registration. On another matter, the board has also asked forwarding centres not only to upload a picture file list of candidates but also a bank fund letter to the concerned office by September 30, 2026, for concluding the registration work for next year’s board examinations (year ending 2027).Candidates advised to complete formalities on timeWith the registration process now underway, private candidates have been advised to complete their applications well before the August 5 deadline to avoid paying the late fee and to ensure sufficient time for verification and correction of their records. Since applications will be processed only through authorised forwarding centres, candidates should remain in contact with their respective centres to track the progress of fee submission, document uploads, and verification.
