The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released the RRB Group D 2025 exam city intimation slip for candidates appearing in the Computer-Based Test (CBT). Applicants can now download their exam city details by visiting the official website of their respective regional RRB and logging in with their registration credentials.The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 22,195 Group D vacancies across the Indian Railways. The CBT is scheduled to be held from August 3 to August 21, 2026. The exam city intimation slip enables candidates to know their allotted examination city and other examination-related details before the release of the admit card, which will be issued four days before the respective examination date.

How to download the RRB Group D exam city slip

Candidates can follow these steps to access the exam city intimation slip:1. Visit the official website of the respective regional RRB.2. Click on the RRB Group D Exam City Intimation Slip 2026 link.3. Enter the registration number and password or date of birth.4. Complete the captcha verification and log in.5. Check the examination city details displayed on the screen.6. Download and save the slip for future reference.The exam city slip includes the candidate’s name, registration number, roll number, examination date, examination shift, reporting time, allotted examination city, concerned RRB region and travel authority details for eligible SC and ST candidates. Candidates should immediately contact the concerned RRB if they notice any discrepancy in the information provided.Examination guidelines and selection processCandidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with an original photo identity proof on the day of the examination. They should verify all details mentioned on the admit card and exam city slip and reach the examination centre at least 15 minutes before the reporting time.The use of mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, calculators, earphones, electronic gadgets and study material inside the examination hall is prohibited. Biometric verification will also be carried out during the examination process.Selection will be based on a single-stage CBT, followed by the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), document verification and a medical examination.CBT pattern and vacancy detailsThe CBT will be conducted for 90 minutes and will consist of 100 questions. The paper will include 25 questions each from General Science and Mathematics, 30 questions from General Intelligence and Reasoning, and 20 questions from General Awareness and Current Affairs. One-third of a mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer, and normalisation will be applied to the CBT scores.Among the 22,195 vacancies, 11,032 are for Track Maintainer Grade-IV, 5,053 for Pointsman-B and 1,509 for Assistant Signal and Telecom. Candidates up to three times the total number of vacancies will be shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test.
