WBJEE 2026 Round 1 allotment result: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will announce the WBJEE Counselling 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result today, July 7, 2026. Candidates who participated in the first counselling round can check their allotment status through the official website using their login credentials.The Round 1 allotment result will display details including the candidate’s name, roll number, course allotted, college allotted and category of allotment. Candidates who receive seats must complete the admission process, including seat acceptance fee payment and reporting at the allotted institutes, by July 11, 2026.WBJEE Round 1 allotment process and admission scheduleThe seat allotment result will be available through the candidate login portal. Students need to visit the official WBJEE website, select the Round 1 seat allotment result link and log in using their application number and password.The counselling schedule included candidate registration, payment of registration fee and choice filling from June 30 to July 5, 2026. Candidates were also allowed to modify and lock their choices during the same period. The Round 1 seat allotment result is scheduled for July 7, 2026.Candidates allotted seats can pay the seat acceptance fee and report to the allotted institutes for document verification and admission from July 7 to July 11, 2026. Students must contact their allotted institute or visit its website for admission timings and specific requirements.Documents required for institute reportingCandidates reporting for admission must carry original documents along with photocopies. The required documents include the WBJEE Rank Card, WBJEE Admit Card, provisional seat allotment letter, Class 10th Admit Card or Birth Certificate, valid photo ID, Class 10th and 12th marksheets, domicile certificate issued by the competent authority in West Bengal, category and income certificates, and PwD certificate, if applicable.Students may also need to submit a medical fitness certificate, anti-ragging undertaking and 4-6 passport-size photographs during admission.Counselling rounds and seat allotment rulesWBJEE 2026 counselling will be conducted in three rounds. Seat allotment in Round 1 will be based on General Merit Rank (GMR), eligibility criteria, reservation rules, seat availability and the order of choices submitted and locked by candidates.Candidates allotted their first preference or those choosing not to upgrade will proceed with admission. Other candidates may participate in subsequent rounds according to the applicable counselling rules.WBJEE 2026 examination statisticsThe WBJEE 2026 result was announced on June 18, 2026. A total of 1,20,856 candidates registered for the entrance examination, while 94,901 appeared. A total of 92,753 candidates qualified, recording an overall qualification rate of 97.74%.The top 10 rank holders included Shaswat Banerjee, Souriddha Mandal, Umang Bhoot, Rahul Konar, Sarban Bhattacharya, Arha Bhattacharya, Srijan Sur, Senapati Manish, Sabyasachi Laskar and Debojit Pal.
