Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has announced the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) round 3 seat allotment result 2026. Candidates who participated in the counselling process for Bachelor of Technology (BTech) admissions through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) can now check their allotment status by visiting the official website, uptac.samarth.edu.in.To access the result, candidates need to log in using their registration number or email ID and password. After downloading the allotment letter, candidates must select one of the available options — Freeze, Float, or Withdraw — based on their admission preference. The option can be exercised till August 1, 2026.Candidates who wish to accept their allotted seat must also pay the seat acceptance fee by August 1, 2026. The fee is Rs 20,000 for General and Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates, while Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates have to pay Rs 12,000. The payment can be made online through net banking, credit card, or debit card.

UPTAC round 3 seat allotment result 2026: How to check

Candidates can follow these steps to download the allotment result:

  • Visit the official UPTAC counselling website at uptac.samarth.edu.in.
  • Click on the candidate login link available on the homepage.
  • Enter your registration number or email ID and password.
  • Submit the details to view the seat allotment result.
  • Download the allotment letter and keep a printed copy for future use.

Documents required for college reporting

Candidates reporting to their allotted institute should carry the following documents:

  1. Passport-size photograph
  2. Signature image
  3. All uploaded supporting documents, including marksheets and certificates
  4. Printed copy of the submitted UPTAC application form

AKTU has also announced that the UPTAC round 4 auto-freeze seat allotment will be released on August 3, 2026. Candidates receiving a new allotment in round 4 will be able to pay the seat confirmation fee, withdraw online if required, and complete physical reporting at their allotted institutes between August 4 and August 7, 2026.
