UP Police Constable Result 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has declared the UP Police Constable Result 2026 for the written examination conducted for recruitment to 32,679 constable posts. Candidates who appeared for the examination held on June 8, 9 and 10, 2026, can now check their qualifying status and download the merit list from the board’s official website.The result has been released in PDF format on the official UPPRPB portal. Candidates shortlisted in the written examination will proceed to the next stages of the recruitment process, including the Document Verification (DV), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

Candidates can download the merit list and result notice by visiting the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board:Candidates should carefully check the merit list to confirm their selection status and keep a copy of the result for future reference.Recruitment timelineThe recruitment process began with the release of the notification on December 31, 2025, followed by the application process that concluded on January 30, 2026. The written examination was conducted over three days in June in offline OMR mode.The provisional answer key was issued on June 20, 2026, after which objections were reviewed before the declaration of the final written examination result.Examination patternThe written examination consisted of 150 objective-type questions carrying a total of 300 marks. A negative marking scheme was applicable, with 0.5 marks deducted for every incorrect response.The recruitment drive attracted participation from more than 21 lakh candidates, making it one of the largest police recruitment examinations conducted in the state.What happens after the written result?Candidates qualifying the written examination will now be called for the next stages of the recruitment process.These include:• Document Verification (DV)• Physical Standard Test (PST)• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)The schedule for these stages will be announced separately by UPPRPB through its official website.Physical standards for shortlisted candidatesCandidates appearing for PST will have to meet the prescribed physical standards.
