He credited Ishan’s aggressive innings for setting the tone, highlighted the importance of Iyer’s quick contribution and revealed his determination to develop into a reliable all-rounder by regularly contributing two or three overs.

Zimbabwe, meanwhile, will hope to finish the series on a positive note after struggling to match India’s intensity. Brian Bennett has shown glimpses of his potential, but the hosts have failed to build substantial partnerships with bat or ball.

With the series decided, Sunday’s contest offers India an ideal opportunity to experiment while maintaining the winning momentum ahead of a packed international calendar.
