AIIMS releases NORCET 11 notification for Nursing Officer recruitment; applications open until August 13
AIIMS opens NORCET 11 Nursing Officer recruitment 2026 applications with September examination schedule

AIIMS NORCET 11 Recruitment 2026: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has issued the official notification for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET)-11 under Notice No. 103/2026. The recruitment drive invites online applications for Nursing Officer (Group-B) posts at AIIMS New Delhi and other participating AIIMS institutions. The notification was released on July 24, 2026.Online registration has commenced through the official AIIMS examination portal and will remain open until August 13, 2026, at 5 pm. The recruitment will be conducted through a two-stage computer-based examination, followed by document verification and a medical examination. The number of vacancies will be announced separately.Eligibility criteria and pay detailsSelected candidates will be appointed as Nursing Officers in Level 07 of the Pay Matrix, corresponding to the pre-revised Pay Band-2 of Rs. 9,300-34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,600.Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years of age as on August 13, 2026. Age relaxation will be applicable according to the prescribed rules.Candidates are required to possess B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing, B.Sc. Nursing, or Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing qualifications along with registration as a Nurse and Midwife. Those holding a General Nursing and Midwifery diploma are also eligible if they are registered as a Nurse and Midwife and have two years of experience in a hospital with at least 50 beds.Examination schedule and application feeThe NORCET Preliminary examination is scheduled for September 12, 2026, while the NORCET Mains examination will be conducted on September 30, 2026. Both stages will be held as computer-based tests.

The application fee is Rs. 3,000 for General, UR and OBC candidates, while SC, ST and EWS applicants are required to pay Rs. 2,400. Persons with Disabilities are exempted from paying the application fee. AIIMS has stated that application fees paid by SC and ST candidates who appear for the examination will be refunded after the declaration of results, subject to verification of their category certificates.Application processCandidates must complete the online application through the AIIMS examination portal by registering for NORCET-11, filling in the application form, uploading the required documents and paying the applicable fee through online payment modes. After successful submission, applicants should download and retain a copy of the completed application form for future reference. Selection will be based on performance in the Preliminary and Mains examinations, followed by document verification and a medical examination.
