When will CBSE release Class 10 second board exam result 2026? Here's what we know so far
CBSE Class 10 Second Board Result 2026 expected soon: Here is what we know so far

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the Class 10 second board exam result 2026 soon. However, the board has not yet confirmed the official date and time for the declaration of the results.Once released, students will be able to check their results on the official websites, including cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, results.cbse.nic.in, results.digilocker.gov.in, and the UMANG platform.Students will need their roll number, school number, admit card ID, and mother’s name to access and download their marksheet.The CBSE conducted the Class 10 second board examinations from May 15 to May 21, 2026, giving students another opportunity to improve their scores under the board’s two-board-exam system.According to the board’s passing criteria, students must score at least 33% marks in each subject, including both theory and practical components wherever applicable, to pass the examination.

What will the marksheet include?

The CBSE Class 10 second board exam marksheet will contain the following details:

  • Student’s name
  • Roll number
  • Date of birth
  • Subject-wise marks
  • Total marks
  • Grades
  • Pass or fail status
  • Overall qualifying status

How to check CBSE Class 10 second board result 2026

Students can follow these steps once the result link is activated:

  • Visit the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in.
  • Click on the Results section on the homepage.
  • Select the CBSE Class 10 Second Board Exam Result 2026 link.
  • Enter your roll number, school number, admit card ID, and mother’s name.
  • Click on Submit.
  • Your result will appear on the screen.
  • Download the marksheet and keep a copy for future use.

Best-of-two policyCBSE will prepare the final result under its best-of-two policy. This means that for students who appeared in both the first and second board examinations, the higher score obtained in each subject will be considered for the final result.Students are advised to keep checking the official CBSE websites for the latest updates, as the board is expected to announce the result shortly.
