Maharashtra MBA MMS admissions 2026: CAP Round 1 starts July 28 after 56,669 candidates complete verification
56,669 candidates qualify for Maharashtra MBA MMS CAP admissions; merit list on July 22, Round 1 from July 28

A total of 56,669 candidates have completed the registration verification process for Maharashtra MBA and MMS admissions for the 2026–27 academic session, making them eligible to participate in the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell announced that the first CAP round will commence on July 28, 2026, while the entire admission process will conclude on September 15, 2026.The second extended registration window for MBA and MMS admissions has now closed. According to the CET Cell, 67,616 candidates registered for admission before the deadline, while 56,669 candidates completed verification and confirmed their application forms by July 20. Only these verified candidates will be considered for the forthcoming CAP rounds.Registration figures and merit list scheduleThe final date for MBA/MMS registration was July 19, 2026, until 5.00 pm. By the close of registrations, 67,616 candidates had submitted applications. Of these, 56,669 candidates completed document verification and application confirmation by July 20.In comparison, 59,456 candidates had registered for MBA/MMS admissions during the 2025–26 admission cycle.The provisional merit list will be published on July 22. Candidates who identify any discrepancy in their details will be able to submit grievances through their login between July 23 and July 25, until 5.00 pm. CAP process to continue in four roundsThe CET Cell will conduct four CAP rounds before institution-level admissions begin. Candidates participating in subsequent rounds will have separate option entry windows during August.
