Jawaharlal Nehru University has started the application process for undergraduate and Certificate of Proficiency programmes for the 2026-27 academic session. JNU UG and COP admissions 2026: Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has started the registration and application process for undergraduate (UG) and Certificate of Proficiency (COP) programmes for the 2026-27 academic session. Candidates seeking admission to the university can now submit their applications through the official admission portal.The admission process covers B.A. (Hons.) in Foreign Languages, B.Sc. Programme in Ayurveda Biology, and various Certificate of Proficiency (COP) programmes. JNU has clarified that admissions to these courses will be based on CUET (UG) 2026 scores.

Registration deadline is July 22

Eligible candidates must complete the registration and application process by July 22, 2026. Applications can be submitted through the JNU admission portal, jnuee.jnu.ac.in.Applicants are advised not to wait until the last date, as heavy traffic on the website may cause delays. They should also keep all required documents ready before beginning the registration process.

Admissions based on CUET UG 2026 scores

JNU will prepare admissions for the undergraduate and certificate programmes using CUET (UG) 2026 performance. Candidates must ensure that the CUET application number and scorecard are available while filling out the application form.The university has asked applicants to enter all details carefully because certain information cannot be edited after submission.

JNU UG and COP admissions 2026: Steps to apply

  • Go to the official JNU admission portal and click on “New Registration.”
  • Go through the instructions, agree to the declaration and start.
  • Authenticate your profile with DigiLocker by either registering yourself (for new applicants) or by logging in (for old applicants).
  • Use the OTP sent to your registered email ID/mobile number to verify them.
  • Fill all your personal, address, and academic information in a detailed manner.
  • Provide all necessary documents which are: Latest passport size photograph, signature, and CUET UG 2026 score card
  • Make sure all the information is correctly filled and then submit the application.
  • Pay the applicable application fee through the online payment gateway.
  • Download and print the completed application form along with its payment receipt.
