The Government of Andhra Pradesh announced that Hon’ble Minister for Human Resources Development, IT, Electronics & Communication and RTG, Sri Nara Lokesh, is in Mumbai today to lead a high-powered investor roadshow and a slate of one-on-one meetings ahead of the 30th CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam on November 14–15, 2025.
One-on-one meetings
- Tata Group: Meeting with Mr. N. Chandrasekaran, Chairman, Tata Sons, representing a USD 128 billion revenue group with approximately 1 million employees, across verticals including TCS (USD 30 billion FY25 revenue), Tata Power Renewables (11.3 GW utility-scale portfolio; 4.3 GW cell and 4.3 GW module manufacturing), IHCL (247 operational hotels; INR 8,565 crore FY25 revenue), Tata Electronics (India’s first iPhone assembler; Dholera fab up to INR 91,000 crore), and STT GDC JV (400 MW operational data centre IT load in India).
- Trafigura: Meeting with Mr. Sachin Gupta, CEO–India; Trafigura posted FY2024 revenue of USD 243.2 billion and net profit of USD 2.76 billion; trades 6.8 million barrels/day of oil products and completed 5,501 voyages in 2024; signed a USD 1.4 billion, five-year LNG supply pact with Indian Oil Corporation for 2.5 million tonnes starting Q3 2025.
- ESR Group: Meeting with Mr. Sadat Shah and Mr. Prakrut Mehta; APAC’s leading new-economy real estate platform with USD 154 billion AUM (June 2024), USD 71.4 billion fee-related AUM (Dec 2024), completed a USD 7.1 billion privatization in June 2025; India AUM stands at USD 1.7 billion across 2.8 million sqm GFA.

The CII roadshow will commence with registrations at 5.30 PM at the Taj Palace Hotel, Colaba, Mumbai.
The event features welcome remarks by Mr. Murali Krishna Gannamani (CII AP Chair), remarks by Mr. Vir Advani (CII Western Region Deputy Chair), an industry perspective by Mr. Rishi Kumar Bagla (CII Western Region Chair), a film on the Summit, a presentation on AP opportunities by Dr. N. Yuvaraj, IAS, and the Chief Guest Address by Sri Nara Lokesh, followed by Q&A, media interaction, and networking dinner at The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai.
Overview of the AP–Tata partnership pipeline
- TCS: Vizag development centre commencing operations on November 1, 2025, scaling from 2,000 seats toward 10,000, with denotification formalities in progress.
- Tata Power Renewables: Exploring up to 7,000 MW in AP with an estimated INR 49,000 crore investment; land options shared for solar manufacturing and project enablement [1].
- IHCL: Seven hospitality projects identified for 1,500+ keys across AP, including Visakhapatnam (Araku) Eco-Isle and multiple city developments under the Tourism Policy 2024–29.
- other collaborations underway with Tata Electronics, Tata Projects and Airports: Evaluating OSAT and electronics manufacturing opportunities; India’s first iPhone assembly by TEPL; large-scale fab and OSAT investments underway nationally with potential AP linkages
