AIIMS CRE 5 re-exam announced for 7 group codes: Check official notice here

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has announced that it will conduct a re-examination for selected group codes under the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE)-5. The decision has been taken based on the recommendations of an Expert Committee and with the approval of the Competent Authority.According to the official notice issued today, July 31, 2026, the earlier examination conducted between July 25 and July 27, 2026, for the affected group codes will not be considered for result declaration.The re-examination will be held only for the group codes listed below:

  • Group Code 3: Data Entry Operator Grade A, Junior Administrative Assistant, Lower Division Clerk and Upper Division Clerk
  • Group Code 20: Personal Assistant, Personal Assistant to Principal (S), Stenographer and Private Secretary
  • Group Code 28: Assistant Security Officer
  • Group Code 32: Junior Medical Record Officer (Receptionist) and Receptionist
  • Group Code 33: Junior Warden, Warden and Hostel Warden
  • Group Code 48: Telephone Operator
  • Group Code 58: Social Security Officer, Manager Grade II, Superintendent and Social Security Officer (Audit)

Candidates who were issued admit cards earlier for these group codes will be considered for the re-examination, subject to verification of official examination records and other applicable conditions.AIIMS said the re-examination may be conducted at short notice. However, candidates will be given at least 10 days’ notice before the exam. The detailed schedule, fresh admit cards and other instructions will be released separately on the AIIMS Examination website and the candidate dashboard.The institute has clarified that this notice applies only to the group codes mentioned above. The examination process for all other CRE-5 group codes will continue as planned, and their results will be declared in due course.Candidates are advised to regularly check the official AIIMS Examination website and their candidate dashboard for the latest updates. The Examination Section has also stated that there is no requirement to visit the office in person.All other terms and conditions mentioned in the detailed CRE-5 recruitment advertisement, including subsequent notices, corrigenda and instructions, will remain applicable.Read the official notice available here.
