KEA releases UGCET 2026 first round provisional seat allotment; check result and objection process

KEA seat allotment 2026: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the provisional results of the first round of seat allotment for UGCET 2026 admissions to professional courses, including Engineering. Candidates can now access their provisional allotment status through the official KEA website. According to KEA, the provisional seat allotment has been prepared based on the options entered by eligible candidates up to 11.30 am on July 9, 2026. Candidates who find any discrepancy in the provisional allotment can submit their objections online until 5.00 pm on July 14, 2026. After the verification of objections, KEA will publish the final first round seat allotment result.

How to check the UGCET 2026 provisional seat allotment result

Candidates can follow these steps to access their allotment status: Step 1: Visit the official KEA website: https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/Step 2: Click on the UGCET 2026 First Round Provisional Seat Allotment Result link.Step 3: Enter the required login credentials.Step 4: Submit the details.Step 5: View the provisional allotment result.Step 6: Download and save a copy for future reference.

Objection window open until July 14

Candidates who wish to raise objections against the provisional allotment can submit their representations by 5.00 pm on July 14, 2026, through email at keauthority-ka@nic.in.Direct link to chek and download the results: https://cee.kerala.gov.in/keam2026/ KEA has clarified that objections will be considered only in specific cases, including discrepancies in the published provisional result or situations where the candidate’s verified choices were entered but no seat has been allotted. Requests arising from failure to enter preferences or demands to modify previously submitted options will not be accepted. The authority has also stated that changes to option entries are not permitted at this stage of the admission process.

Final allotment after verification

Following the scrutiny of objections received within the stipulated deadline, KEA will release the final first round seat allotment result. Candidates allotted seats in the final list will be required to report to their provisionally allotted colleges as per the admission schedule notified by the authority. KEA has advised candidates to regularly visit its official website for notices and updates related to the counselling process. The authority has stated that it will not be responsible for any consequences arising from candidates failing to follow notifications or instructions published on the portal.
