BPSC Bihar APO admit card released as exam day guidelines issued before July 15 preliminary test

BPSC Bihar APO admit card 2026: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will conduct the Bihar Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO) Preliminary Examination 2026 on July 15, 2026, with the admit cards already released on July 9, 2026. Candidates appearing for the examination must carry their printed hall tickets and follow the instructions issued by the commission for entry and verification at the examination centres.The preliminary examination will be conducted in offline, OMR-based mode across various centres in Bihar. The recruitment examination is being held for 300 Assistant Prosecution Officer posts under Advertisement No. 13/2026. Candidates who have not yet downloaded their hall tickets can access them through the official BPSC online portal using their login details.Exam day guidelines for candidatesCandidates must carry a physical printed copy of the BPSC Bihar APO Admit Card along with an original government-issued photo identity proof. Accepted identity documents include Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport and Driving Licence. Carrying two recent passport-size photographs has also been advised.Candidates should reach the allotted examination centre at least one hour before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card to complete security checks and document verification. Electronic devices including mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, Bluetooth devices and recording equipment will not be allowed inside the examination hall.Examination schedule and paper detailsThe BPSC Bihar APO Preliminary Examination will be conducted in two shifts on July 15, 2026. The General Studies paper will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, while the Law paper will take place from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.Paper I, General Studies, carries 100 marks, and Paper II, Law, carries 150 marks. The examination will use OMR sheets, and candidates will face a negative marking penalty of one-third mark for every incorrect answer.Steps to download the hall ticketCandidates can download the admit card by visiting the BPSC online candidate portal and logging in with their username or registration number and password. After entering the captcha code, applicants should open their dashboard and select the View or Download Admit Card option available against the Assistant Prosecution Officer recruitment advertisement.Candidates should verify all details mentioned on the admit card before downloading the PDF and take multiple printouts for examination use.Recruitment details and selection processThe BPSC APO 2026 recruitment notification was released on February 25, 2026, followed by the application process from February 27 to March 20, 2026. The selection process includes three stages — Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Interview.Candidates applying for the posts must hold an LL.B. degree from a recognised university. The age limit ranges from 21 years to 37 years for unreserved male candidates, with relaxation applicable to reserved and female categories as per rules.
