The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has announced the JoSAA Counselling 2026 Round 4 seat allotment result on its official website, josaa.nic.in. Candidates who participated in the counselling process can now check their allotted institute and course by logging in with their Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main application number and password.Candidates who have been allotted a seat in Round 4 must complete the online reporting process, upload the required documents, and pay the seat acceptance fee by July 13, 2026, up to 5 pm.According to the official fee structure, candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), General-Persons with Disabilities (GEN-PwD), General-Economically Weaker Section-Persons with Disabilities (GEN-EWS-PwD), Other Backward Classes-Non Creamy Layer-Persons with Disabilities (OBC-NCL-PwD), SC-PwD, and ST-PwD categories are required to pay Rs 15,000 as the seat acceptance fee. Candidates from all other categories must pay Rs 35,000.JoSAA counselling is being conducted for admission to Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programmes offered by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and Government Funded Technical Institutions (GFTIs).Candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seat and do not wish to participate in further rounds can choose the “Freeze” option. Those who want to be considered for a better institute in the next round can select “Float”, while candidates who wish to retain their allotted institute but seek a better branch can choose the “Slide” option.As per the counselling schedule, the final round of JoSAA Counselling 2026 seat allotment will be announced on July 16, 2026, at 5 pm. Candidates who receive a seat in the final round will have to report to their allotted institutes for document verification by July 21, 2026, up to 5 pm.

Candidates can follow the steps below to download the Round 4 seat allotment result:

  • Visit the official JoSAA website at josaa.nic.in.
  • Click on the Round 4 Seat Allotment Result link available on the homepage.
  • Enter your JEE Main application number, password, and security pin.
  • Submit the details.
  • The Round 4 seat allotment result will appear on the screen.
  • Download and save it for future reference.
