UGC NET June 2026 answer key expected between July 15 and 20

UGC NET June 2026 answer key: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the provisional answer key for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2026 session between July 15 and July 20. The answer key is anticipated after the completion of the examination process, which concluded on July 5.Once released, candidates will be able to access the provisional answer key along with their recorded OMR response sheets on the official NTA UGC NET website. The documents will enable candidates to compare their responses with the official answers and estimate their likely scores before the declaration of results.Around 9.08 lakh candidates await answer keyThe UGC NET June 2026 examination witnessed the participation of around 9.08 lakh registered candidates. The examination is conducted to determine eligibility for the award of the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to PhD programmes in universities and higher education institutions across India.The provisional answer key is issued to provide transparency in the evaluation process and allow candidates to review the responses recorded during the examination.Objection window to open after key releaseFollowing the publication of the provisional answer key, NTA is expected to open an objection window for candidates wishing to challenge any answer. Candidates will be required to submit their objections online within the specified period.A non-refundable fee of Rs 200 will be charged for each question challenged. Objections submitted without payment of the prescribed fee or after the closing date will not be considered.Final answer key to determine resultsSubject experts will examine all valid objections received during the challenge window. If any challenge is found to be correct, the answer key will be revised accordingly before the final version is published.The final answer key will form the basis for the preparation of UGC NET June 2026 results. No further objections will be accepted after the release of the final answer key. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official NTA website for updates regarding the answer key, objection schedule and result declaration.
