UPTET Result 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) is expected to announce the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) Result 2026 in the first week of August. Although the result was initially anticipated by the end of July, the declaration has been delayed. Candidates will be able to download their scorecards from the official UPESSC portal once the result link is activated.The UPTET 2026 examination was conducted in offline mode from July 2 to July 4 across 75 districts for Paper 1 and Paper 2. The provisional answer key was released on July 8, while objections were accepted until July 14. The final answer key is expected to be published along with, or a day before, the result declaration.Result and certificate processCandidates will be required to log in using their registration ID and password or date of birth to access their scorecards. Those who qualify will receive an eligibility certificate that remains valid for a lifetime. Distribution of certificates is expected to begin around September or October 2026 through regional District Institutes of Education and Training (DIET) centres.The examination recorded large-scale participation across 955 centres in the state. A total of 19,94,661 candidates registered, while 17,70,714 appeared, resulting in an overall attendance of 88.77 per cent. Attendance stood at 91.12 per cent for Paper 1 and 87.25 per cent for Paper 2.Qualifying marksUPTET is a qualifying examination, and the commission prescribes fixed qualifying marks instead of a merit-based cut-off.
Both papers comprise 150 objective-type questions carrying one mark each, with no negative marking.
