UGC NET June 2026 answer key on August 16: Check download steps, response sheet and objection process

UGC NET June answer key 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the provisional answer key for the UGC-NET June 2026 examination on August 16, 2026. Candidates will be able to access the answer key, question paper and individual response sheets through the official NTA UGC-NET portal.NTA has also announced that provisional answer keys for UGC-NET, CSIR-NET and ICAR AIEEA (PG) and AICE (PhD) 2026 will be published on August 16. Candidates have been advised to rely only on official communications issued by NTA.UGC-NET June 2026 exam datesThe UGC-NET June 2026 examination determines eligibility for Assistant Professor, Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and PhD admissions across 87 subjects.The main examination was conducted on June 22, 23, 24, 25, 29 and 30, 2026. A re-examination was held on July 5 at selected centres.

They can follow these steps:Step 1: Visit the official UGC-NET website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.Step 2: Click on the link for “UGC NET June 2026 Answer Key / Challenge Window”.Step 3: Log in using the application number and password or date of birth.Step 4: Open the response sheet, question paper and provisional answer key.Step 5: Download the available documents.Step 6: Use the response sheet and provisional key to calculate the estimated score.Candidates should retain copies of the downloaded documents for reference during the answer key challenge process.Direct link to visit the official UGC NET websiteUGC-NET answer key challenge processA challenge window will open along with the provisional answer key. Candidates who find an answer incorrect can submit an objection through the designated online portal.A non-refundable processing fee will be charged for each challenged question.
