MCC revises NEET SS 2025 counselling schedule after Delhi High Court order, Round 2 registration resumes

NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has revised the schedule for Round 2 of NEET SS 2025 counselling following directions issued by the Delhi High Court. In a notice dated August 5, the committee said it has withdrawn its notification issued on August 3 with immediate effect and announced a fresh timeline for the counselling process.The decision follows an order passed by the Delhi High Court in Writ Petition (C) No. 11097/2026, titled Sunil & Anr. v. Medical Counselling Committee. The court permitted the petitioners to re-register and participate in Round 2 of the NEET SS 2025 counselling process.August 3 notification withdrawnReferring to the court’s observations, the competent authority stated that the August 3 notification has been withdrawn with immediate effect. The committee said the decision was taken after considering the issues raised before the court.The revised schedule will allow eligible candidates to complete the counselling process in accordance with the updated timelines published by the committee.Revised counselling schedule
