Jasprit Bumrah on Tuesday became the third-fastest Indian bowler to take 150 ODI wickets, by balls bowled, during the first ODI against England.Bumrah achieved the feat by dismissing England captain Harry Brook with the first ball of the 14th over. He bowled a slower delivery that climbed on Brook, who could only edge it towards first slip, where Rohit Sharma completed the catch. The wicket was Bumrah’s 150th in ODI cricket.The dismissal also helped Bumrah create another record. He now has 31 ODI wickets in England, moving past Ravindra Jadeja (30) to become India’s highest wicket-taker in the format on English soil.Fewest balls to 150 ODI wickets (India):

  • Mohammed Shami – 4,070
  • Kuldeep Yadav – 4,513
  • Jasprit Bumrah – 4,605
  • Ajit Agarkar – 5,027
