The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET) June 2026 provisional answer key soon on the official website, csirnet.nta.nic.in.Once released, candidates who appeared for the examination will be able to download the provisional answer key, check their responses, estimate their probable scores and raise objections, if required, within the given deadline.The CSIR NET June 2026 examination was held on July 17 and July 18 for candidates seeking eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professorship and admission to Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes in science disciplines.The provisional answer key gives candidates an opportunity to review the answers before the final result is announced.

How to download the CSIR NET June 2026 provisional answer key

Candidates can follow these steps to download the answer key:

  • Visit the official CSIR NET website at csirnet.nta.nic.in.
  • Click on the CSIR NET June 2026 Provisional Answer Key link on the homepage.
  • Select the examination session and subject.
  • Log in using the required credentials, if asked.
  • The provisional answer key will appear on the screen.
  • Download and save it for future reference.

Objection process

Along with the release of the provisional answer key, the objection window is also going to open.Candidates who find any discrepancy in the answer key can submit objections within the prescribed time by uploading the required supporting documents and paying the fee for each challenged question.Only objections submitted within the given deadline and supported by the required documents and fee will be considered.

What happens next?

After the objection window closes, subject experts will review all the challenges submitted by candidates.If any objection is found to be valid, the provisional answer key will be revised. The updated version will be published as the final answer key.After this process is completed, NTA will announce the CSIR NET June 2026 result along with the category-wise cut-off marks. No further objections will be accepted after the final answer key is released.Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for the latest updates on the answer key, objection process, final answer key and result declaration.
