CSAB special round 2 seat allotment result 2026 out

The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has released the special round 2 seat allotment result for 2026 admissions. Candidates who took part in the CSAB special counselling rounds can now check their allotment status on the official website, csab.nic.in.Candidates need to log in using their CSAB registration credentials to check the result. The allotment is based on the candidate’s Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main rank, choices filled during counselling and the availability of seats.According to the CSAB schedule, candidates have to complete the seat acceptance fee payment, document upload and online reporting from August 12 to August 14, 2026. Candidates must respond to any queries raised during the process by August 17. They will have to report to the allotted institute by August 18, 2026.

How to check CSAB 2026 special round 2 seat allotment?

Candidates can follow these steps to check and download their allotment result:

  • Visit the official website, csab.nic.in.
  • Click on the CSAB special round 2 seat allotment result link.
  • Enter the required login details.
  • Submit the details.
  • The allotment result will appear on the screen.
  • Download the allotment letter and keep a copy for future use.

What after CSAB 2026 round 2 seat allotment?

Candidates can choose from the following options based on their admission preference:

  • Freeze: Accept the allotted seat and confirm admission.
  • Slide: Accept the seat and opt for a higher-preference course in the same institute.
  • Float: Accept the allotted seat while remaining eligible for an upgrade to a higher-preference institute or programme.
  • Surrender: Give up the allotted seat as per CSAB rules.
  • Withdraw/Exit: Give up the allotted seat and withdraw from the counselling process.

Candidates should check the official CSAB website for further updates and complete all required steps within the given deadlines.
