The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has clarified the status of the Tier 2 recruitment examination results for various posts in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) and Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS).In a press note, CBSE said the results will be released in phases from mid-August 2026. The clarification came after reports claiming that the Tier 2 recruitment results had already been declared.CBSE conducted the Tier 2 recruitment examinations in March 2026 for various posts in KVS, NVS and EMRS. The examination included both objective and descriptive sections.

KVS, NVS, EMRS Tier 2 result 2026: Evaluation underway

According to CBSE, more than 2.1 lakh descriptive answer books across 68 disciplines are currently being evaluated.The board has already displayed the answer keys and images of the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheets on its official portal. The evaluation of the OMR sheets has also been completed.However, the descriptive answer books are still being physically evaluated. CBSE said that this process has reached an advanced stage.

KVS, NVS, EMRS result 2026: To be released in phases

CBSE has made it clear that the Tier 2 results will not be announced for all posts at the same time. The results will be released in phases, starting from mid-August 2026.Candidates who appeared for the recruitment examination should therefore wait for the official result announcement. They are advised not to rely on social media posts, unofficial websites or unverified reports about the result date.Candidates should regularly check the official CBSE recruitment portal for the latest updates. They should also keep an eye on the respective official websites of KVS, NVS and EMRS.The official websites will carry updates related to the Tier 2 results, merit lists, cut-offs and further stages of the recruitment process.Read the official press note here.
