The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) has released the O Level admit card for the July 2026 examination cycle. Candidates appearing for the examination can download their individual theory and practical hall tickets from the official student portal before the commencement of their respective examinations.The admit card became available on July 03, 2026. Candidates are required to access the official portal using their application or registration details to obtain the document. The downloaded hall ticket will carry details including the examination shift, batch allocation and the allotted examination centre.Steps to download the admit cardCandidates need to visit the NIELIT Student Portal and click on the Download Admit Card option available on the right-side notification panel. They must then select O Level from the Information Technology course category, choose the examination year as 2026 and the examination cycle as July 2026.Applicants should enter their Application Number or Registration Number along with their Date of Birth in the prescribed DD-Mon-YYYY format. After completing the displayed captcha code, they must click View, read the safety undertaking and select Print Admit Card to save the document as a PDF. Documents and items for examination dayCandidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card on clean white A4 paper to the examination centre. They are also required to produce a valid original photo identity proof such as an Aadhaar Card, PAN Card or Voter ID for verification.Those possessing the official NIELIT Registration Allocation-cum-Identity Card should also carry it. Restricted items, including mobile phones, smartwatches, calculator tools and digital media devices, are not permitted inside the examination hall.Examination scheduleThe NIELIT O Level theory examination for the July cycle is scheduled to begin on July 11, 2026. The practical examination will commence on August 08, 2026, after the completion of the theory papers.According to the examination schedule, the result is expected to be declared during the second week of October 2026. Candidates should verify the examination date, reporting time, shift, batch allocation and examination centre printed on their hall ticket before appearing for the test.NIELIT has also notified that the July 2026 HW, CHM-T (Computer Hardware Maintenance-Technician) O Level admit card has been available for download and printing from July 03, 2026.
